A little about their ministry:
Larry and Amy Libengood have faithfully served as part of the local church in Pennsylvania for many years, demonstrating a sincere love for the Lord, a steadfast commitment to His Word, and a genuine desire to accomplish His will. Following their time attending the School of Discipleship, both Larry and Amy began to recognize a deeper calling upon their lives to step beyond the familiar and become actively involved in the work of ministry. With hearts surrendered to God's direction and a willingness to follow wherever He would lead, they traveled to Guatemala, where their compassion for vulnerable children and passion for missions began to develop into a greater Kingdom purpose. As they prayerfully sought opportunities to serve, the Lord directed their steps to an orphanage in need of faithful partnership and support. Through this divine connection, Promised Home Ministries was established to help provide care, resources, and spiritual encouragement to children growing up in challenging circumstances. Today, Larry and Amy continue to walk in sincere faith and humble obedience, believing that serving the Lord means not only hearing His voice but faithfully responding through acts of compassion, generosity, and sacrificial love. Their ministry reflects a heartfelt commitment to seeing children nurtured, lives transformed, and the love of Jesus Christ demonstrated throughout Guatemala.

About the Leadership :
Promised Home Ministries in Guatemala was birthed through the calling of God upon the lives of Larry and Amy Libengood, who felt the Lord directing their hearts toward international missions and caring for children in need. Through prayer, faith, and a willingness to answer the call, they began partnering with an orphanage in Guatemala, helping provide the financial support, resources, and encouragement necessary to care for children and nurture their development in a loving, Christ-centered environment. What began as a burden for missions grew into a ministry dedicated to investing in the lives of vulnerable children, ensuring they receive not only the necessities of life but also the spiritual guidance, compassion, and biblical foundation needed to grow in the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ. Today, Promised Home Ministries continues to demonstrate the heart of the Father by supporting the ongoing care, education, and spiritual development of these precious children, raising up a generation surrounded by the love, hope, and promises of God's Kingdom.

The mission of Promised Home Ministries is to demonstrate the unconditional love of Jesus Christ by supporting and caring for vulnerable children in Guatemala, providing them with a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment where they can grow physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We are committed to helping raise children in the ways of the Lord, establishing a strong biblical foundation that will guide their lives and prepare them for a future filled with faith, hope, and purpose. Through compassionate outreach, faithful stewardship, and meaningful partnerships, we seek to bring healing to the hurting, comfort to the brokenhearted, and stability to children who need the security of a loving home. Our desire is that every child entrusted to this ministry would experience the tender care of Christ, discover their God-given worth, and grow into a life of spiritual maturity and Kingdom purpose. We believe that investing in the lives of these children is an investment in future generations, raising them to know the love of their Heavenly Father and empowering them to become living testimonies of His grace, goodness, and faithfulness.
